Adoptable Pups Residing at Best Friends Fur Ever
Best Friends Fur Ever works with Fallston Animal Rescue Movement as a temporary foster home for pups that have entered rescue and are waiting for a home. Best Friends Fur Ever provides socialization, training, grooming and love to these pups as they settle in to our routine and wait for their fur ever homes to find them. Fallston Animal Rescue Movement has rescued and found homes for over 8,000 unwanted pets since its beginnings in October 2000. Best Friends Fur Ever helps them with their goal by housing, training and supply necessary love and attention during this tough transition time in these pups lives. Best Friends Fur Ever is primarily a daycare; all rescue and foster pups must be able to fit into our daily daycare routine. We typically have 3-4 foster pups residing with us at any point in time. For the safety of all the pups in our care as well as the routine of the business we require that all interested parties fill out an application and call for an appointment to visit at 410-671-7529. We can not offer walk-in meetings.
All of the fosters pups at Best Friends Fur Ever are up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella. They are heartworm tested and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. Additionally, they are micro chipped, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. The dogs have all been screened for suitablity with other dogs and have been assigned a play group, which they play in daily. Many dogs have been enrolled in our training program and have had the opportunity for some basic training during their stay with us. All are crate trained unless otherwise noted. Many of our foster dogs have been screened for suitablity with children. Each dog is an individual; the requirements for each individual's placement varies. Some dogs require a fence some do not. Applications will be taken and processed as the first step in our effort to find the right home for each individual dog. The application process typically takes 3-4 days to complete. Adoption fees vary and all fees collected go straight to Fallston Animal Rescue Movement. Adoption fees are collected in an effort to offset veterinary costs associated with rescuing pups, however we find F.A.R.M's fees reasonable and comparable to those of other local rescue groups. Fallston Animal Rescue Movement is a non profit 501c3; all adoption fees go right back into the cost of rescuing another pup.
