Like humans, dogs are social beings and benefit from positive interactions with other dogs. Dogs learn social skills as well as receive exercise and enjoyment throughout the day. The stimulation your dog receives at daycare allows for a more positive home life!
NEW SOCIALIZATION OPTIONS
(Available at Cockeysville only. Coming to our Joppa location on October 1, 2018!)
BFFE can accommodate all dogs that would like to stay with us for the day or for their vacation stay. All guests are screened for socialization
and placed in one of our programs RompersSM, Mutt MasterMindsSM or Easy RiderSM.
Rompers program allows dogs that have passed our social assessment to interact in a social group for up to 6 hours during daily care and up to 8 hours during their vacation with us in our traditional daycare and boarding environment. We have 4 social groups within our Rompers program and your dog’s placement depends on size, play style and temperament.
Mutt MasterMinds program provides3 to 4 exercise sessions for daily care and 4 to 5 sessions for boarding. In addition, dogs receive one Mutt MasterMinds session that includes brain teasers, sensory games, and dog agility exercises. These sessions challenge them mentally and provide tiring stimulation. Additionally, our guests receive a 15-minute one-on-one session that includes the parent’s choice of activity.
Easy Rider program consists of 3 to 4,15- minute exercise sessions during daily care and 4 to 5, 15-minute exercise sessions during vacation stays.
SPECIAL SOCIALIZATION OPTIONS
In addition to our less social dogs, all puppies that are pre-rabies booster are placed into our Mutt MasterMindsSM program to ensure they receive exercise and attention throughout their stay with us. This program will also assist with crate training and potty training.

PLAY SAFE COLLARS AT BFFE
All our guest are required to wear Breakaway collars, which are specially designed to release in case a dog accidently were to become stuck on someone or something. The most common scenario would be a dog accidently getting its tooth or paw stuck on a playmate’s collars. In this sort of situation, the collars will breakaway reducing the risk of injury. Because of this feature, we do not recommend using a leash with a breakaway collar. Please walk your dog into daycare on an appropriate leash and collar.
