DESCRIPTION:About Event\nOur Best Friends Fur Ever Cockeysville team will be walking their Thanksgiving meals off – literally. We will be tracking steps taken on their dog daycare shifts and asking their friends and family for donations based on every 1\,000 steps taken. \nWe will be awarding special prizes for our team members who track the highest numbers of steps and for collecting the most donations for the Baltimore Humane Society. \nIf you’d like to donate\, simply drop a check (sorry – no cash) made out to the Baltimore Humane Society at our Front Desk Concierges during drop-offs and pick-ups any day during November. \n\n\nAbout Baltimore Humane Society\nA crucial member of the Baltimore community for nearly one hundred years\, the Baltimore Humane Society is an independent 501c3 non-profit animal shelter offering services for all stages of pet ownership. The organization works diligently to help homeless animals find necessary medical treatment\, behavioral training\, and\, ultimately\, a loving forever home. Adoption fees are halved for senior animals and modified or waived for senior citizens\, first responders\, and military personnel. The clinic offers free and low-cost spay/neuter\, vaccination\, and wellness services to the public. The Bmore Kind Pet Food Bank offers support for pet owners experiencing financial struggles\, allowing them to keep their pets at home. The memorial park offers end-of-life options for beloved pets as well as bereavement support and grief counseling.
