More support. More flexibility. Care built around your dog.
Assisted Canine Care (ACC) is BFFE’s dedicated daycare and overnight boarding program for senior dogs and dogs with special needs. As their needs change, we build their care around what works for them—from outdoor activity and enrichment to comfortable rest, mobility assistance, routine medications and hands-on support.

A Different Model of Care
ACC is a different model of care built for senior dogs and dogs with special needs who need added support.
BFFE has designated ACC handlers focused on each dog’s needs and routines. At both resorts, we’ve designed dedicated ACC spaces with ramps, accessible activity areas, crate-free rest spaces, soft and specialty bedding, and room to move, explore and rest comfortably.
Our ACC team monitors behavior, health observations, food and water intake, giving pet parents a clearer picture of how their dog is doing.
As their needs change, we build their care around what works for them.

Daycare or Boarding, With the Same Level of Support
ACC is available for both daycare and overnight boarding at BFFE Joppa and Cockeysville.
ACC Daycare A day built around your dog, with outdoor time, enrichment, appropriate social opportunities, comfortable rest and hands-on support based on their needs.
ACC Boarding The same individualized care continues when your dog stays overnight. During the day, they follow their ACC routine with outdoor time, enrichment, rest and hands-on support based on their needs. In the evening, they transition to dinner, relief, medications as needed and comfortable crate-free rest, with BFFE team members onsite throughout the night.
BFFE team members are onsite 24 hours a day, 365 days a year—including overnight.
For senior dogs and dogs with special needs, that means someone is here throughout their stay. Whether your dog needs a late potty break, a little help getting comfortable or simply some extra attention, our overnight team is onsite.

The folks here are so nice. My dog Rocky acclimated in about 5 days… He is so happy here now. I’ve never seen anyone say a cross word to anyone or any animal. These folks are more than professional – they love dogs and it really shows.
