Social Play Boarding
For dogs who enjoy spending their day with dog friends.
Play style: Social Play dogs participate in supervised group play with dogs matched by size, energy and play style, with structured activity and rest throughout the day.
Standard lodging: Social Boarding guests rest overnight in their own individual standard boarding accommodation.
May be a good fit for: social dogs who enjoy an active group environment and are comfortable participating in traditional group play.
Play My Way Boarding
For dogs who prefer something other than traditional large-group play.
Play style: Play My Way combines one-on-one attention, enrichment, outdoor time, sibling play and carefully selected social opportunities based on the individual dog.
Standard lodging: Play My Way boarding guests stay overnight in an individual indoor kennel run as part of their program.
May be a good fit for: shy, selective, independent or unneutered and unspayed dogs, dogs who prefer people, or dogs who enjoy spending time with siblings or familiar friends.
Assisted Canine Care Boarding
For senior and special-needs dogs who may benefit from a calmer environment and additional hands-on support.
Activity style: ACC dogs enjoy individualized activity and enrichment at their own pace rather than following a traditional group-play schedule.
Standard lodging: ACC boarding guests rest overnight in a quieter, crate-free environment designed around comfort, mobility and additional care needs.
May be a good fit for: senior dogs, dogs with arthritis or mobility needs, blind or deaf dogs, dogs using mobility aids, or medically stable dogs who need additional daily support.

ACC+ Recovery Boarding
For medically stable dogs recovering from surgery, injury or chronic, non-contagious illness who need additional structure while following veterinarian-directed instructions.
Activity style: ACC+ dogs follow a controlled recovery routine with activity restriction, calm enrichment and veterinarian-directed recovery exercises rather than regular daycare play.
Standard lodging: ACC+ boarding accommodations are designed to support rest, restricted activity, medication schedules and the individual dog’s recovery needs.

Their schedule may include personalized enrichment, outdoor adventures, puzzle games, cuddle time, training games, or carefully selected social interactions, along with plenty of quiet breaks to rest and recharge.
Between activities, each Play My Way guest relaxes in their own spacious private kennel accommodation. Families are welcome to bring familiar comforts from home—such as a favorite blanket, bed, or toy to help make their stay feel even more comfortable and familiar.
Looking for a little extra luxury? Play My Way guests can also upgrade to one of our Luxury Suites or Petite Suites, complete with in-suite webcams and additional comforts, for an even more personalized overnight experience.

Play My Way gives dogs another option with one-on-one attention, enrichment, sibling play and carefully selected social experiences.
That means dogs who are selective, shy, unaltered or simply happier outside traditional group daycare can still enjoy a full boarding experience.

Yes. BFFE offers daycare and 24/7 overnight care programs for older dogs and dogs with additional care needs may benefit from a slower pace and more individualized support.
Our Assisted Canine Care program is designed around those needs.

Yes. Sibling lodging and play options are available at BFFE. We have designed Sibling Suites to accommodate larger breeds to stay together, as well as Petite Suites for smaller breeds and bonded pairs..
Live play-yard cameras are available during designated daytime hours for applicable programs. Select Premium Lodging options also include in-suite cameras.
Sleeping accommodations depend on the care program selected. Each program includes standard overnight accommodations, and Premium Lodging upgrades are available at Cockeysville.
Yes, for Premium Members. Premium Members can arrange after-hours pickup at no additional fee. Pickup must be coordinated with our team in advance so the scheduled time can be communicated to the overnight staff.
Our team is onsite 24/7 caring for the dogs, but our lobby is not open 24 hours a day. Overnight team members are focused on caring for our guests, so after-hours pickup is only available when it has been arranged with our team ahead of time.
Yes! Unaltered, unneutered, and unspayed dogs can participate in our Play My Way daycare and boarding program. In this program they will sleep in their own personal kennel run.

Observation & Updates
If we notice a minor concern that doesn’t require immediate veterinary care, we’ll closely monitor your dog, document our observations, and communicate with you through a report card, phone call, text, or at pickup—depending on the situation.
Veterinary Recommendation
If we believe your dog should be evaluated by a veterinarian the same day, we’ll remove them from their regular activities, contact you immediately, explain what we’ve observed, and work with you to determine the best next steps.
Emergency Care
If your dog requires immediate emergency veterinary attention, we’ll transport them to the nearest emergency veterinary hospital without delay while contacting you and keeping you informed throughout the process.

Found BFFE when we inherited a geriatric pup who needed care and had never been boarded. They are a fantastic resource for all ages of dogs. Currently board our 5 year old pup occasionally, and take advantage of some daycare days.
Great people with a good facility. Definitely worth paying the extra for one on one attention, but dogs certainly get lots of love there. I don’t need to hesitate when going on a trip – he can stay there and be well taken care of. Definitely recommended.
Bella returned today from a nearly two week stay at Best Friends FurEver. I knew she was in great hands from her posted photos. For a small dog she ate well as she did not loose any weight. She is always excited to hear she will be going to Best Friends!
Absolutely EXCEPTIONAL care for my little dog, Max!! Positive experiences from start to finish,. Streamlined Intake process. Variety of drop off times allowed me to meet tight departure deadlines. Trainer engaged Max upon drop off, making it so much easier for me emotionally to leave him. I knew he’d be in good hands.
The staff identified a medical issue with Max. In an expedient fashion, they notified me and promptly ensured he received required medical care from our vet! I wasn’t panicked, as I received regular updates via phone calls/Care portal. In addition, I could call directly to get updates (even unusually hours). It was comforting to receive periodic pix of him, often snuggling with staff, trainers and/or the owner!
As with many pet owners, I’m extremely attached to Max. Leaving him in others’ care is especially difficult since his cancer diagnosis several years ago. As such, I am VERY particular about his care. He receives the premium care from the loving, capable staff at Best Friends Fur Ever. BIG THANKS for all you do to care for my special little canine family member!!. 💕🐾😊
