Boarding & Daycare Caretakers
Our daycare and boarding programs offer more than just a space for dogs to spend their day. Our caretakers actively interact with the dogs, forming meaningful connections with each guest. Each program is designed to ensure a well-balanced day of enrichment, mental stimulation, exercise, and rest throughout the day. Team member will be expected to understand canine body language, behaviors, and group interactions. While prior experience with pets is helpful, we provide all necessary training. Applicants should have a passion for dogs, display excellent customer service, and be eager to learn.
Front Desk Associate
The Front Desk Associate is the voice and the face of Best Friends Fur Ever. They are responsible for the four-legged and two-legged customer experience, reservations, appointment scheduling, retail inventory, processing invoices & payments, enrollments, and administrative duties. Applicants should demonstrate great multi-tasking skills, communication, phone, computer, and sales skills.
Grooming Specialist
Grooming plays a vital role in maintaining a pet’s health and well-being. Responsibilities include understanding breed-specific grooming standards, offering skin and coat evaluations with appropriate recommendations, and collaborating closely with clients. Applicants should have a solid foundation in grooming practices and strong communications skills are essential.
Groom Tech (Dog Bather)
We are looking for a caring and thorough Dog Bather to become part of our team. The perfect candidate should love animals, possess strong customer service skills, and be eager to learn the fundamentals of dog bathing. In this role, you’ll be responsible for bathing, brushing, and drying dogs of various breeds and sizes. In addition, you will provide nail trim and filing services, all while ensuring the comfort and well-being of the pups in our care.
Reservation Sales Specialist (Hybrid)
Our Reservations Sales Specialists are dynamic, and customer oriented. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of reservations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the best experience for our canine clients and their owners. In this role, RSS candidates handle bookings, answer inquiries, and help pet parents select the best services for their dogs, such as daycare, boarding, grooming, training, and special packages. Applicants should demonstrate proven experience in customer service or sales role, passion for animals and basic behavioral knowledge, excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, and proficient in reservation systems and basic computer applications.
Dog Trainer
Training is about creating a clear communication system for dogs and establishing guidelines for positive behavior. The expert trainers at BFFE are highly skilled in canine behavior, positive reinforcement methods, and interpreting non-verbal cues. Our team actively pursues continued education by attending industry conferences, seminars, and participating in training session with their own dogs. Ideal candidates should have prior training experience.
