Dogs change. Their personalities, health, mobility, energy, and needs change with them. Our job isn’t to make every dog fit into one model of care. It’s to find the care that fits the dog in front of us today—and adapt as their needs change tomorrow.

That’s why we’ve built four care programs: Social Play, Play My Way, Assisted Canine Care (ACC), and Assisted Canine Care+ (ACC+). From social dogs and dogs who prefer individualized care to seniors and dogs recovering from surgery or injury, we want families to have options throughout their dog’s life.

Overnight Care Should Fit the Dog, Too

Our lodging options include:

  • Traditional Social Boarding for dogs who thrive in group play
  • Play My Way and ACC lodging, with crate-free accommodations designed around each program, from individual indoor runs to open sleeping areas with soft bedding and more freedom to reposition and get comfortable.
  • Petite, Lux & Sibling Suites for a more private, hotel-style stay, with specialty bedding, personal TVs, and 24/7 camera access for pet parents.
  • ACC+ Recovery Lodging for medically stable dogs with recovery plans, activity restrictions, or more complex care needs.

Wellness doesn’t begin when a dog gets older. Movement, enrichment, rest, nutrition, grooming, and comfort matter throughout their life.

That’s why BFFE continues to expand our spa, enrichment, and wellness services—from brain games and probiotics to calming support, PEMF, red light therapy, and canine massage.

At our core, we are dog people.

Our team is PackPro certified and continually learning, but our commitment goes beyond training. BFFE operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Nights, weekends, and holidays, our team is here caring for the dogs families have entrusted to us.

We don’t take that responsibility lightly.

Care Takes Communication

Dogs are living beings. Their behavior, health, comfort, and needs can change—sometimes unexpectedly.

We believe the best care happens when our team and our pet parents work together.

Communication may include photos and videos, behavioral observations, health and wellness updates, feeding information, and other details about a dog’s care. When something doesn’t seem right, our responsibility is to notice, communicate what we’re seeing, and work together on the next step.

Caring for Pet Parents, Too

Loving a dog is joyful. It can also become complicated.

The dog who once stayed easily with a neighbor may eventually need medications, mobility assistance, extra potty breaks, or overnight support. A social puppy may grow into a dog who prefers a quieter day. An injury or diagnosis can change what a family needs overnight.

Pet parents shouldn’t lose their care options because their dog’s needs change.

We want to be a place families can continue to turn to—not just for daycare or a place to sleep, but for care that can grow with their dog.

Every new pup receives a social assessment on their first day and is then placed into the program best suited for their unique needs.

A temperament test is not required for our Play My Way program – only  reservations and required vaccines are needed prior to your pup’s stay with us.

Playgroups are customized by size, play style, and temperament to optimize every dog’s socialization experience, safety, and fun.

Dogs that participate in group play benefit from a purposeful play model that caters to their natural rhythm and maximizes their health.

We offer individual enrichment and one on one sessions to exercise your pup’s mental and emotional stimulation.

Play My Way offers dog care tailored to every personality and playstyle—because no dog should spend the day waiting for a walk.

From enrichment games to fungility courses, small group play, or one-on-one time, our expert handlers create the perfect day for your pup. Unaltered pets welcome.

We have spacious outdoor play yards for the dogs to run around and relieve themselves, as well as large indoor play areas during inclement weather.

We have at least one member of management onsite 24/7, 365 days a year, so boarders always have an overnight shift manager taking care of them.

You can watch your pup on our live webcams, and you’ll receive report cards with pictures and updates on how your pup is doing.

Our staff are trained to perform CPR and recognize other medical issues, as well as give any type of medicine; including insulin.
