Not every dog loves large group play—and that’s okay! We’ve invested in our resorts for the health and wellness of our individual players. Play My Way is designed for dogs who thrive with a more personalized approach. Whether your pup prefers solo enrichment, selective socialization, is unaltered, or simply a quieter day, we build a plan that works for them. With Play My Way, all you need to do is book a reservation, and your dog will have a space in the program—no temperament test needed.
My highly anxious dog decided she no longer wanted to play with all of the other dogs in group play. The team at Best Friends suggested the All Dogs Welcome program with individual attention. She loves her caretakers and they enjoy her goofiness. While she does not get socialized with other dogs, I am happy that she interacts with people and is still exhausted when she comes home.

Being new to Maryland and Baltimore, we have had trouble finding our favorite and most trusted places for things. Best Friends Fur Ever has been the greatest experience we’ve had in our first year here! From enrolling my fur babies over the phone with Sherri, to check-in and check-out at their “New Kid Day”, to the cute pics and report cards, plus their online client portal – it was all amazing! Even their assessments were very accurate and inline with our (3) dogs personalities. All of my interactions with staff were wonderful. We felt recognized and confident leaving the pups at BFFE. They offer daycare and boarding with other great services like training and grooming – it’s a one-stop-shop and we are so thrilled to have found them.

Dogs deserve fresh air and room to explore! Our Cockeysville resort offers an elevated experience unlike anywhere else locally, with spacious outdoor kennel runs where socially selective dogs can enjoy up to four hours of outdoor play. For dogs who prefer indoor relaxation, our indoor runs provide a cozy and safe space to snooze while their owners are away.
