About Our ACC+ Program
Care Beyond The Clinic

When your dog comes home after surgery or receives a chronic illness diagnosis, recovery can be the hardest part. ACC+ by Best Friends Fur Ever provides structured, medically informed care for dogs who are cleared by their veterinarian but not yet ready to return to full activity.
A calm, safe, and supportive environment for your healing – with the expert care your dog deserves.
Who We Support
Designed for Dogs Who Need a Little Extra Care

ACC+ supports dogs who are medically stable but need continued care after surgery or during chronic illness management. We welcome dogs recovering from:
- Orthopedic, ophthalmic, neurological, or soft tissue surgeries.
- Dental or oral procedures.
- Recovering from spay or neuter.
- Chronic or mobility-related conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, cancer, or amputee recovery.
If your veterinarian recommends limited activity, consistent medication, or close supervision — ACC+ is here to help. Our ACC+ team provides individualized recovery support in consultation with your veterinarian to ensure every detail of your dog’s care plan is followed with precision and compassion.
There is great space, indoor and out, and great people to take care of our special pups… and it’s staffed 24 hours, with several drop off and pick up times available for daycare. There are also different programs depending on the dogs socialization and skills and there are add-ons that can create a specialized environment for each individual dog. Overall just a great place!

How We Support Continuing Care
ACC+ is not a veterinary service.
We partner with veterinarians by following their post-operative and care instructions to deliver structured support in a specialized recovery environment.
This partnership ensures that your dog’s healing continues safely and thoughtfully once they leave the clinic. Our team provides:
- Seamless Communication: Updates between your vet and our care team to maintaincontinuity.
- Medication Management: Timely and accurate administration of prescribed medications.
- Monitored Rest & Recovery: Gentle supervision to prevent overexertion or setbacks.
- Comfort & Stability: A calm, climate-controlled space designed for stress-free recovery.
With ACC+, pet parents gain a trusted helping hand — one that extends your veterinarian’s plan, keeps your dog’s well-being at the center, and gives you confidence that every detail is being cared for.
Bringing a dog home after surgery or a new health diagnosis can be daunting. Even the most caring pet parents can struggle to manage recovery plans while
balancing home life.
ACC+ fills that gap — providing professional, structured recovery support designed with input from veterinarians and delivered with compassion.
We believe recovery deserves the same expertise and care as treatment itself.
That’s the promise of ACC+.
