The Daily Record has named Kelly Cullum, Co-Owner and Co-Founder of Best Friends Fur Ever, to its prestigious 2025 Maryland’s Top 100 Women list. This annual award recognizes exceptional women for their professional achievements, leadership in the community, and commitment to mentoring future generations.
For 30 years, The Daily Record has celebrated Maryland’s most influential women through this program, honoring nearly 2,000 individuals who have made a lasting impact in their industries and communities. Cullum’s inclusion in this year’s class highlights her dedication to improving the lives of pets and their owners through innovative pet care services and her unwavering commitment to mentorship and community engagement.

Last year, Best Friends Fur Ever celebrated its 20th anniversary. Over the past two decades, the company has expanded to two locations and now employs over 80 team members across Maryland—including individuals who have faced barriers to entering the workforce.
Maryland’s Top 100 Women will be honored at a 30th anniversary reception and awards celebration on May 5 at Towson University Arena, Auburn Drive in Towson. A VIP reception begins at 4 p.m. Doors open for the general networking reception at 4:30 p.m., followed by the awards celebration and a seated dinner at 5:30 p.m.
