Here’s what we know so far:

Josh Spiegel has vanished without a trace, and the play yards at Best Friends Fur Ever are buzzing with suspicion. Detective Farfel has been following every scent, pawprint, and half-chewed clue that might lead to his missing dad.

The suspects? A mix of sweet smiles, wagging tails, and suspiciously well-timed alibis. The evidence? Scattered toys, strange behavior, and a trail of wet pawprints that always seems to end at the Lux Suites.

Suspect #1: Josephine — “The Chicken Incident”

A sweet face with a savage streak when poultry’s involved.
Josh and Farfel had visited the Play My Way yard on the morning of his disapperance. Josh said, “Be good, Farfel.” Farfel thought he meant for the day — not forever.

Later, Josephine was caught red-pawed attacking a chicken toy… the very same day Josh had a chicken salad sandwich for lunch. Coincidence? Farfel thinks not.

Suspect #2: Titan — “Mr. Perfect”

Cool. Calm. Collected.
Titan claims he was in Assisted Canine Care when Josh vanished, but sometimes the quiet ones are hiding the biggest bones. Farfel’s nose caught familiar scents in the teeny Social Yard — and something doesn’t add up.

Suspect #3: Teddy — “The Teacher’s Pet”

Fresh haircut. Fancy strut. Too confident for comfort.
That morning, Teddy was spotted in the lobby getting extra pets from Josh. Farfel didn’t like it one bit. That tail wag wasn’t innocent — it was strategy.

Suspect #4: Otis — “The Gentle Giant & Lux Suite Lurker”

Big heart. Bigger paws. And maybe… big secrets.
Otis claims he’s afraid of open spaces — which makes it strange that he’s been spending so much time near the wide, echoing Lux hallway. That’s the very area where Josh was last seen. Farfel’s been watching closely, and let’s just say… that side eye says a lot more than words ever could.

Clue #1: The Lobby Trail

The investigation began in the teeny Social Yard, where Farfel first picked up the scent and followed it to the Play My Way yard.

Josephine was already on the suspect list — feathers flying, toy chicken in pieces — while Titan kept his calm, collected demeanor that only made Farfel more suspicious.

Then, a fast-forward in the case: Farfel is seen holding a large bone in an unknown setting — a mysterious hint that this story is far from over.

Clue #2: The Pawprints of Suspicion

Wet pawprints have reappeared, leading straight to the Lux Suites.
Same hallway. Same door. Same uneasy feeling in Farfel’s fur.

Someone’s been sloppy… and maybe, just maybe, they want to be found.

Detective’s Log Day 6:

I won’t rest until I find Dad.
The others may nap, snack, or chase toys… but I’m chasing the truth.
The trail’s heating up — and I can feel it.
One of them knows something.
