We miss our friends.  We want to get back to our routines.

Yes, we know these days are tough and no one needs anything else to worry about.

That’s why we, at Best Friends Fur EverSM, have made some changes.

When Maryland went into a state of emergency for COVID-19 and residents were ordered to “Stay-At-Home,” many of our day care friends stayed at home too.  Sadly, we were forced to furlough a good number of our team members. But we applied for the Federal Paycheck Protection Loan and were able to bring back all our associates.  One less thing to worry about.

We established enhanced, pet-friendly sanitizing procedures throughout the interiors and exteriors of our day care, training, grooming and boarding areas.  We rolled out enhanced, personal, protective safety gear for every team member. We continue to maintain social distancing guidelines both inside our facilities and for curbside drop offs and pick-ups with our customers. One less thing to worry about.

We knew it was our social responsibility to give back to our communities, so we instituted “Play It Forward.”  In partnership with Show Your Soft Side & Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, we were able to offer everyone working during the “stay-at-home” order 2,500 free days of dog care. While they are working to provide health and other essential services, we are working to care for their canine companions.  One less thing to worry about.

Our partner, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, has stationed their food truck at our Joppa and Cockeysville locations weekly for the foreseeable future. (Watch for emails and Facebook posts for dates and times.)  This provides our employees, clients and surrounding businesses with a delicious & safe take-out option for lunches and dinners instead of having to cook at home.  One less thing to worry about.

  • We continue to offer doggy day care & boarding for pups to senior dogs because they need socialization, a daily routine, play & exercise, to see their friends & a warm comfy bed when you go away.
  • We still offer behavioral training, because at every age, dogs need to be formally taught what is expected of them and continue to learn.
  • Today we are still doing nails and baths, but very soon, we hope to bring back our full menu of grooming services when regulations allow.

We know we are all in this together – with you and your dogs for the long haul. We were here for your yesterday, we are here for you today & we will be here for your when you get back to your routines. One less thing to worry about.

We know there are brighter days to come.

Just know . . . . We Miss Our Friends!

Much Love,

The Best Friends Fur Ever Team
